Client Request: Develop new juice product for an Institute of Food Technologists Convention
Crystal Lake Beverage Development:
CLB formulated and aseptically packaged a reduced calorie juice drink with an original flavor CLB called “Peach Orange Riff” © as a New Orleans jazz theme.
- The product was well received at the convention, creating interest in the client’s beverage ingredients and reduced calorie drink category.
- A medium sized juice company at the convention requested the formulation to produce a new product introduction.
This product is one of many innovative flavors introduced by Mr. Burg beginning in 1987 that have generated new flavor opportunities over the last two decades.
- Another innovative flavor developed for this client at an Interbev Convention was “GuavaBerry” ©, a fantasy flavor, in which category CLB specializes.
